This vest is made from a Martha Washington bedspread, also known as a hobnail bedspread. The modern version of this bedspread is a revival of the one that George Washington gave to Martha on their wedding day. It is partnered with an upcycled men's shirt with a white floral print on a black background. The facings and seams are bias bound and hand finished.
